I've realized that the time has come for me to walk away from this site. Clearly my attempts at keeping this site civil has not been well received. My motivation to keep foul language and threats of violence off these pages was out of a concern of who made be reading what appears here. Some of those that post to this site evidently have forgotten that children may be reading what you type.

While I do so under an assumed name, I cannot be associated with a web-site that allows for this type of behavior. I wish some of you well, while others I hope that someday you are held accountable for the hate, the threats and the venom you spew forth on these pages.

My thoughts are this - SHUTDOWN this site! It isn't worth the crap you and the former Coyote put up with in what you had attempted to do for the community.

It's a shame

It truly is a shame that this site cannot be used constructively. Name calling and slanderous and libelous comments, regardless of to whom they are directed, only lessen the impact of what is trying to be said. I can understand Coyote's frustration.

If PATA ever wants to be an effective organization, more attention needs to be focused on what is perceived a problem, and less verbage needs to be used in all of the finger pointing and name calling. There is a reason nobody wanted to run for school board! The attitudes of many on this website only serve to make that reason clearer.
