The developers aren?’t eating anything in the city. They are on hard times all over. Matter of fact, the city is in a real good position now to go back and look at the bad zoning decisions made by former administrations to see if the landowners would be interested in a zoning change that would reduce the possibility of more residential. Do you think the township would do that? Oh, that?’s right, 99.99% of the land in the township is already zoned residential. Too tough to tackle.
The revolution at city hall you started 4 years ago was derailed last year by the complacency and total lack of attention on the part of the city residents and to revolutionaries like you as to whom they elected. You effected the revolution 4 years ago then went home and closed your eyes and ears and sat by the fire. I?’ll be the first to admit that I made mistakes in the voting booth. I am paying for it now through an overall lack of progress from this council makeup. I vow to be less complacent and more informed in the next election. The voters last year bought a sales pitch sold by snake oil salesmen. Those same people are now trying to sell us out to the township.

They offer us absolutely nothing we can?’t do for ourselves. You clean your house and we'll clean ours. We need to take a big broom down to city hall and sweep out the trash. We simply do not need the township and their government. We do need to unite. The city residents need to unite and protect ourselves from the carpetbaggers on Rustic Drive. History always repeats itself. We are in the midst of a civil war on city council and the carpetbaggers on Rustic Drive are loading their wagons for the trip south.
