Oh, My, GOSH!!
This is hilarious! I just love old Yogi Berra and I can certainly see a lot of him in Yogi Fix. Here are a few of my favorite Yogi-isms translated to Fix:
- City government is 90% mental, the other half is physical.
- I didn't really say everything I said.
- It ain't over 'til it's over.
- No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded.
- The future ain't what it used to be.
- This is like deja vu all over again.
- When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
- When you're part of a team, you stand up for your teammates. Your loyalty is to them. You protect them through good and bad, because they'd do the same for you.
- If the fans don't wanna come out to the ballpark, no one can stop em.
- You can observe a lot just by watching.
Hey Brian, next time you put together a PowerPoint to show everything that is wrong with the economic agreement, please feel free to quote Yogi. This agreement makes as much sense as anything the Yog ever said!!
