To the parents that called Mr Kemper at PHSC to complain about a lock down drill which resulted in the drill being cancelled... you make me want to vomit. Who in the hell do you think that you are to call and complain about a drill that is likely going to result in not only our children but school administration and law enforcement being better prepared to deal with such a situation? Frankly, I wish that drills such as this would occur on a more frequent basis.
I guess that those who decided to call and whine would much rather some deranged punk with a gun come into our schools and start spraying gun fire in random classrooms. Because unless we prepare our kids for just such an occurance, they are not going to have any idea what to do when or if something like this happens. The courts have no answer, they keep putting the walking trash that are likely to commit these atrocities back on the street. The parents (likely those of you that called to complain) either don't care or are just plain too stupid to see it. The schools don't have the courage to properly disciplince anymore since they might hurt little Jimmy's or Susie's feelings.
So what's left? Preparedness. That's all we have. Or had until you jackasses took that away.
