I agree the article highlights cost savings. Utilizing existing designs and preempting the design process in new construction were the cost savings. You need to get a better handle on these terms and if you need help, contact Mr. Brink. He is pretty smart.

Saving a dollar and causing you to spend ten later is ?– what ?– sensible?

Never mind. I can confidently accuse this board of the North incident simply because these are the same people with only different faces and names. Like our city council, election after election we simple reincarnate the past demons. And no, not all these board members can be excused from North so get your facts straight.

It appears to be incumbent upon each regurgitation of the egotists on the board to ?“one-up?” their predecessors in building monuments to their omnipotence.

We don?’t have it out for the board, they have it out for our wallets.

Cathy knew at the same moment as Lisa because they undoubtedly attended the same meetings with the architect. Most of the other board members are smart enough t have known this would come out as it did so they were able to keep tabs on what was happening but maintain plausible deniability.

The other members of the board have seen evidence of Reade?’s acting autonomously of late. She met with the guy from the Columbus Urban League alone and privately to discuss the matter raised by the black parents. She feels empowered by her title as president to act on behalf of the district without reservation. She forgets that the title only empowers her to run the meetings. There are no other perks. Meeting with the architect privately would hold her true to form.

Lisa is in the process of grooming Cathy to join the board. If you noticed, the Oakes?’ closed up shop in Pickerington. If you had the opportunity to visit their shop before they transferred occupancy to a new vendor you would have been regaled with stories of their new land acquisition in Delaware County and their plans to move there as soon as the ink was dry on the contract. I expect that a resignation from the board is in the near future.

Lisa has to accomplish two things, and soon. First she has to hand pick Oakes?’ successor so there is no chance a person (like Central Dad?) with a brain might get on the board and shake things up or rock her world. What better way to assure the loyalty of an obedient minion than to take her everywhere with you to instill that awesome feeling of empowerment? Second thing she has to do is to secure the votes she needs to retain her reign. If she was to lost the presidency, what then? She would again be a little fish in a big pond. Also, she has to secure the votes to assure she can hand pick Dr. Thiede?’s successor.

God forbid should we end up with a Superintendent that will actually run this district and tell Reade what her role really is.

As a concerned parent I hope we do get someone like Central Dad to run. I think once he got involved and saw the whole picture he would come to the same conclusion that the current board comes to. If he is as smart as you think he is then I hope he runs.
