We are sorry to hear you're leaving. You will be missed. You represent everything this community expects in a superintendent. You listen to people, you give credit to those around you (sometimes more than is warranted), you give a human face to the school community, and you have given us a school district to be proud of.
Superintendents like you are few and far between. We can't expect to be graced with another of your caliber.
We are sorry we didn't give you a board of education that was worthy of you. We goofed. We can only imagine this has had a major impact on your decision. It's our loss, and we will have to live with it.
