With the tremendous success of the Pickerington Central football team (congrats Tigers) can this mean the end of football at North? I've personally heard from at least half a dozen Panther football players that plan on becoming Tigers by transfering. They have told me that at least a dozen more are thinking of making the move. The main reason behind the move is certainly the success of the Central team but also the poor coaching at North.
If this is the case, why not just have one team? Granted they are in seperate divisions, but if the boys are allowed to transfer back and forth at will, it just seems pointless to have two teams. Especially when one is clearly much better than the other.

new field
Sounds like one more good argument for a Pickerington City Schools. Why don't they make them sit out a year if they transfer? I certainly can't see how those elitist up North could bare to see their kids plan on 7/8 of a football field.

The rumor I heard...
There's a kid who transferred to our city school to play football this season and cost a couple city kids to get shifted and lose their spot.
Now that kid is transferring back to the township school to play baseball.
Then that kid is transferring back next football season.
See, his parents apparently can afford both their house in the township and a rented apartment in the city.
Don?’t we wish we were all that lucky?
Don?’t we wish the schools were as ?“fair?” in dealing with our kids as they are with this one?

shame on the parents & coaches
i think we all know who the kid and the parents are. his brother is at that ''school up north''.
i don't blame the kid, he does what his parents tell him to, but shame on the parents for making this such a HUGE part of the kids' life. what values are they teaching him -- if you have enough money, you can get whatever you want? That loyalty doesn?’t matter? the heck with friendships? That it is all about me, me me, me, me? As long as I am doing ok, it doesn?’t matter who I harm?
And shame on the coach. He knows perfectly well what is going on. What is he teaching his players? Winning is the only thing? That loyalty doesn?’t matter ?– he took someone who had been through the pre season practices and first couple of games and sat them out -- the kid moved in after several games at North. If that were your kid sitting, how would you feel?
The beauty of it all is that central is graduating a ton of starting seniors this year. The jv team at best was a 500 team, and the freshman only won one game. By the time this boy is a senior, it won?’t matter what Pickerington team he is on because they will both be equally poor.
