Listen, Listen, Where, Where?
Clearly a strong city in terms of its financial health are very important to everyone in the community. Three years after Mr. Fix and Mr. Harding wrote the newsletter the city applied for and received a Moody's bond rating of A2. The current council (before Fix) worked with the city manager and that bond rating was moved up to an A1. This was all down without an agreement with the township. It was done without the simplistic solutions offered by Mr. Fix in 2001 and now in 2006. It appears to me that the current City Manager knows her stuff when it come to guiding the city and taking care of the financial health of the City. When the Manager says she doesn't think it is a good idea to give up our rights to annex then I think we need to at least listen. If we want to move in another direction we need make sure we can justify our reasoning with facts, not opinion with no facts or experience
