First how you goin hire an attorney when ya can't spell it? Second it aint slander when it is the truth!! Now the problem then is once you get your lawyer or atorney as you say and file suit the defendant can then ask for all kinds of documents. Third point is if you are a political operative or an elected official there is very little to can sue about for slander. I am sure your atorney will fill you in on all of your limited opinions.

Does everyone realize the same people constantly post on here? At least Ted Hackworth has the integrity to say it's him. In my opinion all the rest of us are cowards....and the last I checked Pickerington is the USA....so, J... if you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen. You ran for office...deal with it....for those of you writing this hurtful personal stuff, get control of yourselves...besides, next month J may have an idea that everyone loves....so on to the matter at hand, let's all grow up, agree to disagree, and let the voters decide what they want...afterall, last time I checked, we were the ''boss'' of all 7 council members and the mayor to boot...come November that's power...

What a Shame
I am, as usual, troubled by the personal attacks on this site. I am also troubled that someone could take offense to a posting here yet they themselves conduct personal attacks in the newspapers fro their bully pulpit.
Is this website not a type of media outlet?
So the webmaster can decide if quotes in the papers are tolerable without making an editorial comment or by going to a council meeting and voicing their opinion but when someone else makes a comment here, they censor it?
Sounds like a dual standard but this is their website, not mine.
Good luck and God Bless. I think it safe to assume that the rhetoric will increase dramatically as soon as these petitions are filed. I hope the webmaster is as diligent in the future as he or she is now because I?’ll bet the person feeling sorry for himself today will stoop to any level and say anything necessary to get his way in the months to come.

just think about it
you can provide your opinion on issues without commenting on how somebody looks or acts in private can't you. Choosing to go the route of personal attacks that cross the line is not necessary and whoever runs this sandbox decided that a line was crossed.
So lets move on to more important issues, it is not a slow day in Pickerington is it.
