Message to Jim Brink

Jim,

I know you read this site from time to time and I am in the hope you read it today.

Please assert yourself to become president of the board.

Please network with your peers to state your case and garner their votes of support.

Jim, we need you.

You need just 2 other votes besides yours.

Jim, please don't let this board continue as the mockery it is with the current leadership.

Please don't let this board become the travesty the council and trustees have become.

Jim, we need one public entity in this community that we can look to for ethical behavior, a moral base and integrity. We have no one else to turn to but you to lead this board out of the ignominy and into a testament of conviction for the taxpayers and residents.

We have been so deeply disappointed and hurt and abandoned by our other elected officials, please don?’t add insult to injury and let the board go, too.

Cleaning up Lisa Reade's messes

Jim Brink may not want the position. He'd be spending all his time cleaning up Reade's messes, and clarifying all the misinformation she' been giving out.

President will change

If you look back over the recent years Board President, at least at the School Board, has not been held for more than one year by any member.

It's pretty logical that it will change January 8th, also safe to assume it's Jim's turn.

Not So

This is not true. Several School Board Presidents in recent years have remained in office for two successive terms. Larry Sigman is one example. Others have served multiple, non-successive terms.
