C'mon, I should be able to log onto the PLSD site and know the status of the closings.

School closing information

Perhaps you checked the school's site before the announcement was made. It's approximately 11:20 PM, and the PLSD's home page states that school is canceled tomorrow (Weds Feb 14).

For future reference - and to all of my Internet junkie friends - the local media do an excellent job in updating their closing and delay information web pages. Channel 4, 6, 10, The Dispatch - choose one and monitor it. In fact, Channel 4 allows you to sign up for email updates for your specific school district(s).

I don't notice that Pickerington called it as early as the other districts - it's their last snow day, one more and they are in school on 2/19 on Presidents Day.
