Maybe you could take some of the $200,000.00+ your township receives from city residents and return it in salt.

What would have been news worthy would have been
if Trustee Weltlich offered to help the city with salt. I guess that isn't in any agreement.

By the way, Mr. Mayor, why did we run out of salt if we did? Taking care of 256 for everybody, including the non income tax paying unincorporated residents.

More lies

It always amazes me that Weltlich can come up with a bold ass lie to fit his current situation. What is even more amazing is that the papers will print the lies. If the Southeast Messenger is going to print Weltlich?’s statement wouldn?’t it have been a courtesy to at least check out the comment with Pickerington. Since snow and ice was predicted this weekend it seems to me that for a township trustee to be commenting on subject matter that he had no knowledge about is irresponsible at the very least.

Weltlich and the trustees have feed the township residents this crap for years now about how great they are in removing snow and ice in the winter. One of the few responsibilities preformed by the township I might add. Many of the major roads they are suppose to clear are done by the county.

I live in a Pickerington sub-division and after the Valentines Day storm the roads were plowed and salted. Normally they only salt at the corners and the intersections but this year because of the ice they salted the entire road. In the 20 some years that we have lived in the city the Pickerington Road crews have done a great job in keeping the streets clear in the winter.

I am sure Weltlich?’s comments were aimed at the weak minded on council like Fix to raise yet another flag of why we need to give more of our tax dollars to the township.
