Does anyone else think that it is time for a recall of Mr Fix?
Clearly we have fallen victim to either a serious lack ability by him to serve as a council member... He was the ramrod that drove this agreement through council like a man possessed only to have it stall with the trustees. I thought that Jeff told us that he had the approval for the agreement which council already passed? Now the trustees are suggesting changes? Wait just a minute, it that's not the worst case of incompatance by Jeff than I don't know what is.
Or, this is a case of almost criminal malfeasance by Jeff... Has anybody stopped for a moment to think that perhaps he has been working all along with the trustees? Hypothetical question... If he serves at the bidding of Dunlap, Myers and Wetlich than I believe our city law director needs to look into if criminal charges can beb brought against Trustee Fix. I see no evidence that Jeff is doing anything for the good of this city.
The recall process needs to begin at once.

Look for answers-they are there
Take some time to look back through the discussion topics on Brian Wisniewski's site. There was quite a thorough dissertation by a like-minded thinker to you on the ''feasance sisters''.
I agree with that poster that, at the very least, the city manager and development director should be investigated for malfeasance. The city manager has the ultimate authority in running this city and, like everyone did to Bushman, be held accountable for what happens here. The manager, at the very least, should have made public statements read into the record as to her opposition of any agreement that so obviously put the city at a financial disadvantage. Additionally, she should be held accountable for the fact that an issue with such monumental financial ramifications ever made it to even the committee level without a third-party cost/benefit analysis.
The city manager let something get to a vote with direct influence that prohibited council from making an informed decision with sound, irrefutable financial data to back it up. I, personally, would also fault the city finance director for not making a lot of noise before it ever got to committee. They had ample opportunity to request a cost/benefit analysis since so many citizens and three councilmen pleaded with her to do so.
I wonder if the city law director should be held accountable for letting a situation develop where one of the feasance sisters could ever have been touched.
A lot of blame is being cast on the councilmen for their actions. Remember that they are, in at least four cases on this council, pure politicians. We all know how politicians operate. Money in and favors out. Allusions have been made as to who pumped money into candidates?’ war chests and the obvious favors being bestowed in return. I, for one, at least went to the board of elections to get copies of the campaign finance reports to see for myself. It was interesting reading. Don?’t post after me and tell me to put up what I know or it is just fiction. Get off your lazy duffs and go look for yourselves. See if you think it is interesting from whom and where the money came for these four pro-township councilmen. Then send it to the PATA webmaster for posting. A lot of other truths have popped up in the columns to the left of this.
Allusions have been made as to how at least two trustees and their township director stand to make tremendous financial gain if certain land deals go a certain way south of the city. Has anyone ever wondered what can be gained by the city manager? Has anyone wondered if the Johnny-come-lately development director just showed up one day and said I need a job and got one? What is behind him and what are his motivations?

Agree... but
Sending a request for campaign finance to the Fairfield County BOE is a waste to time.
John Dolske was Jeff Fix's campaign finance man and is now grand poo-bah of the Fairfield County BOE!! I know that it stinks to high heaven but it is what it is. Dolske is as much of a crook as Fix is... maybe even more so.
WHY DOESN'T THE PRESS LOOK INTO THIS KIND OF STUFF?

To Agreebut
The man formerly known as Good Guy Dolske cannot interfere with a public records request. That s a staff function that they will be happy to honor while you wait. Besides, wouldn't Democrat Jennifer Brunner just die for a reason to take a look at the real deal here is the good old Fairfield County Board of Elections????
As to the press - is this really news? This is the kind of thing that goes on in every office all over the state. We thought we had it licked with Hackworth, Wisniewski and O'Brien didn't we? Well, it just goes to show that voters generally get what they deserve.
