Already have one
Isn't that what a City Council meeting is? A public forum? Why not go & ask these questions in front of the Council & the press - ask for a written answer to each question. Give a copy of your questions to Lynda Yartin to put into the public record.
Then you have a platform in which to demand your answers.

A good one for the media
I think this is a good one for the newspapers to look into. Hard telling what they may uncover. At council you may not get a staight answer and not only that not all of the voters will hear how the questions were answered.
The media would be a good source for this information so that the answers can be seen by a lot of the voters so they are well informed and know how to decide on the issue if this goes to a vote unless there a reason that you would not want the media to look further into this.

Contact the Trustees
Maybe you should contact the Violet Township Trustees. They have a contact form on their web site. I am sure they would be very happy to answer your questions because the city voters also vote for the trustees. Folks give it a try and get back to us.

Missed my point.....
My point was we really don't have ''investigative reporters'' in Pickerington.
However, if a person was to go to a meeting where the reporters were (like a city council meeting) - the reporter would hear the questions - report of them if they felt they were newsworthy & then follow up with answers.
Asking the reporters to do all the work isn't going to get you the result you are looking for.
People that want to be vehicles of change have to get involved - that may mean standing up and asking questions. The questions that were posed were good ones - they don't have to be asked in an argumentative tone so mud slinging starts. Just a taxpayer with some questions.
