Witnessed this myself

I personally witnessed a student detained at Central for what the administration suspected was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The kids car was searched and they found pot. The kids parents were called and they were told to come get him.

The kicker to this tale? The kid was back in school the very next day. Why?

These kids have no desire to learn, no respect for themselves, no respect for others... yet our teachers and administrators must take away time from those that want to learn, want to better themselves in order to deal with distractions of this type on a daily basis. Sounds very much to me as if the inmates are running the asylum.

Who pays for the city's canine, the canine unit, the housing and the upkeep? Us po' city folk livin' in our Maronda homes. We SHOULD send the dog to North because it's the right thing to do and I'm glad we do it. Maybe Gary, Terry, and Harry could find it in their budget to send a new pooper scooper every now and then.

City's Dog

The City's dog only services Central.

The Sherriff's office/dogs services schools outside the city limits including North/Lakeview.

Don't worry the city is only paying for it's own druggies.
