Dirty Crystal Ball

I think you need to use some Windex to clean off your crystal ball. I think the question asked was who is running. You seem to think everyone is running and the only ones I have heard that are running are Bob Blair and Brian Sauer. It appears that Brian Wisniewski and Tony Barletta seem to be leaning toward running. Heidi and Ted have not committed the last I saw in the local paper.

I would caution all not to simply write off Bob Blair and Brian Sauer as no bodies, or they have a bad personality I think they will work at it and they will make a showing.

As for the issues this fall I do not think they have been brought up fully yet. Both Bob and Brian are talking about cooperation with the township. So I would guess that Fix is in the mix here with getting ''HIS'' three council candidates to run including one for Mayor.

So if the most important issue with the voters is cooperation with the township then I guess the voters will have bought the ''millions of dollars of revenues'' from commercial development with the township. If this be the case then Fix, Riggs, Blair and Sauer will win.

If there is more concern about the city and how much we pay in taxes then they favors Brian, Ted and Tony.

Then there is the mystery mayoral candidate you keep brining up. Is this guy just waiting for a call from a drafting committee or something along those lines?

Anyway I think the city government will have some real competitive races this fall. I am not sure how it will go but it would be interesting to see who is running and what they are running on.

I also heard that there may be a trustee candidate willing to run against Weltlich. I would hope he or she steps up soon.
