BLID-IDI-DING! BLID-IDI-DING!
The school bells gonna ring next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. when council convenes. I'm hearing a motion will be made, possibly at the direction of the mayor, for council to vote to support or not support the initiative slated for a May vote. If it passes to NOT support the initiative, we'll be looking for our taxpayer paid homework in the mail.
Now, I don't look to see the minority members of this issue to be able to get their message out with taxpayer dollars. Tell me, at taxpayer expense, should we only get one side of the story? I await your reponses!
Now, let me ask you John Q. Public, are you smarter than a fifth grader?

R rated
Maybe it is time that we place some kind of rating system on the Pickerington City Council meetings. It is apparent that some of the area children are being exposed to activities that may scar them for life. The members of council address the Mayor as your honor and he introduces resolutions that oppose the very people he is supposedly representing using their tax dollars. From a political stand point the private citizens of Pickerington no longer can exercise their right to amend the charter of THEIR city without interference from the political establishment that abuses their trust and their city charter. In the past the city would fund the City law director to find ways to keep the issues off of the ballot. This time they allow the issue on the ballot and fund the City Manager and Law Director to campaign against the issue. In either event the result is the same. The Mayor of Pickerington and his employee, the City Manager, will use public funds to discredit the citizens of this Pickerington charter committee and the Council minority who happen to be up for election this fall. They will do it under the cover of ?“AN OBJECTIVE PRESENTATION BY AN IMPARTICIAL CITY MANAGER WHO REPORTS TO THE MAYOR.?“
For those that believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa, and that the Mayor is honest please report to the Tuesday (3/20) Pickerington City Council meeting your support is needed.
For those responsible parents the meeting might not be suitable for young impressible children or young adults.

Last time I checked
Last time I checked, it was America and citizens were supposed to hear both points of view on issues, not just those put forth by a bunch of whiners like you! Should we only hear from people like you who just want to complain and say how much better things would be if we only had a past corrupt mayor still in office? Citizens want to hear both sides of the issue and decide. I hope people didn't fall completely for whatever garbage you guys told them when you were circulating petitions. I'm sure that would have been comical to watch! Ah, the mayor wants to take away your tv...ah, the city manager wants to make cars illegal....I wonder what crap you guys were selling those days!

Too funny
Jeff, it's hard for you to believe that the petitioners actually told the truth about your little agreement and the citizens think it's as idiotic as those passing around the petitions.
