Who would you vote for?
Tony Barletta who speaks out for issues for his fellow residents?
Or Northwest Club members?
I won't vote for anybody who is NW endorsed, sends me a piece of their literature supporting them, or is connected to that group.
Period.

Tony by a long shot
Clearly; Tony would have much more credibility that Brian Sauer. From what I have read from Tony and his quotes in the paper he comes across as honest and he truly cares about the City not some higher office. Sauer on the other hand is a political trained operative thinking he can ?“work?” the public into thinking his way. The campaign literature being handed out this weekend is a good example of working the public with lies.
People like Fix and Sauer give politics a bad name. They are more like political robots that simply go through the motions to get elected. The party and the clubs are more like social events and most of these robots are not smart enough to pour water out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel.

Ward System?
Haven't we heard people (I think it was Sabatino) want to institute a ward system in the City.
Would that preclude Tony from running? Doesn't he live on the same street as Mike?
How does that work?

To the promise (swamp) lands
There is something to say about a man that is honest and who is mature enough to think for himself. Clearly young Mr. Sauer has not reached that point yet. For those of us that have children and no time to spend endless hours away from that family in back biting political club meetings know the real meaning of paying taxes and being a good citizen. Good citizens look out for the community they live in not the neighboring community and don't want to give away all of their community's resources for some ideology beyond comprehension. What Young Mr. Sauer is promoting is framed in news clips and not fully thought through. The question for Sauer is are you satisfied to see the city residents take on most of the financial responsibly of our ONE COMMUNITY? If so do you support more taxes from the City? If not how do you plan to pay for your grandiose ideas? Have you taken the Fix ideas about all of this large areas of land in the township ready to develop with large corporations and the city will just be rolling in the dough approach? I would suggest that you visit Mr. Wisniewski's web site and look over the documents he has posted. I would start with the McGrory report which Fix based most of his assumptions on. There is nothing down their Brian Sauer. Tony Barletta knows that you apparently don't. Before you try to lead this community into the swamp lands near US 33 please do some research FIRST.
