I am surprised and shocked that yet another president of the NW republican club is public lying to the people again. In the Current Pickerington Times-Sun there is a letter to the editor from one Mr. Brian Sauer. Let me quote:
?“ In 2002, I personally carried petitions to restrict emergency legislation when involving zoning ordinances.?”
First Mr. Sauer is mis-stating what the initiative said and second he did not carry the petition for emergency legislation that ended up being issue 19. Mr. Sauer is very young so I doubt he has a faulty memory. I suspect he allowed Jeff Fix to write the letter for him and he simply signed it and got it published. Jeff Fix claims he circulated one of those petitions also and he did help in the summer of 2002 and that initiative never made it to the ballot. Jeff collected 7 signatures that summer.
Here are the initials of those that circulated the emergency petition in 2002: TB, JD, RR, JS, PW, DS, JS, TH, DP, DH, RM, MO, DP, DS, & LR. They collected 355 signatures and we see no BS. Only in the letter he wrote to the Times-Sun.
OK Brian if you want to run for council at least tell the truth. The lying only gets worst and having Jeff write your material will make it impossible to survive in the political world.
