I think i get it. I read in This Week's paper that council is going to repeal the JEDD legislation. I assume the majority who started this will end it.
Had we entered into this, we would have given up some options available to the city residents. The article says there was no burning need right now to pursue a separate agreement with Violet Township, according to Mr. Fix.
Then why was there the rush a few months ago to do this? If the MOU is good enough now, why would the majority of council sponsor such a weak agreement that needs to be repealed?
