When will the time come that we demand accoutability from our elected officials?

I thought that was the whole purpose of the overthrow 4 years ago.

The former council and mayor acted with impunity and we showed them the door.

However, before that, they were barraged in letters to the editors and in public statements at meetings demanding they listen to us.

Now we all are silent except for this limited source website.

With an election upon us I think it is high time again we demand satisfaction from those we elect to represent us. At the very least it will give the challengers something to think about for the next few months.

Simple answer

The ''ins'' now are all good guys and we should trust them. They only have our interests in their black little hearts.

The problem is

The problem is you support someone, elect them and then turn on them viciously. Then support and build up someone else and do the same. Who would want you in their corner?

State is involved

I heard on the NEWS 6 Saturday night that the dumpster-gate two days in a row has lead to a state investigation. Who in the state would be investigating a lawyer? Is this connected to the Ohio Supreme Court and what penalties would be involved if the allegations were to be proven true?
