Now I hear that this Mike Reeves guy didn't meet with ANYONE before he got tapped to be the principal at Central.

Is Karen Mantia so desperate to bring a black principal to the district that she rushes the process? If he's qualified, fine, but to rush things through with a guy that coaches tell me WILL DO NOTHING FOR DISCIPLINE AT CENTRAL just because his hiring will shut up the AAUPP types, then this helps NO ONE.

I heard talk of a ward system for city council, but it was dismissed because the city was too small or something like that. Well, there are 5 school board members all from outside the city limits and the district is too large for that argument. The board picks the supt., principals, and make most other major decisions. One of you sheep in the city needs to stand up and lead us away from the slaughter. Don't ask me to be the one as I am not a city resident.
