Agree, but....

How about those two big cornfields along the Lockville road side of the Central campus? I also understand the school owns some land north of the campus.

I think that with the additional land and reconfiguration of which sport's field is where and some better traffic flow you could make a pretty good situation. Then the current Central football field could be for practice and World Harvest and junior high only. Plus we could set up an 8 lane running track since that is important to a lot of people. Also I got to say that the area used for field events could use some improvement.

Good questions and comments. I am sure these comments are being read by the board and campaign committee. Maybe they will be addressed at future meetings

If that is true, let me add these simple comments:

We already have detailed plans for all the athletic facilities at North. Speaking for myself as a Central parent, I would ask for no more than duplicates of those facilities. Not one thing better. Not one more urinal, not one more hot dog cooker - nothing. All we ask for is equality.

Certainly the cost savings on design would be significant.

World Harvest

As a Pickerington old timer and someone that has been going to Tiger football games for more years than I would care to admit to... I think that it is long passed due that the school board get our high schools out from under this hostage situation that World Harvest has us in.

Can anyone explain to me, why they are still using Tiger and Panther stadiums to play football? That church is making money hand or fist and they expect us to believe that they cannot afford to build their own facilities? I personally feel that it is crying shame that Jack Johnson put a lot of good years into the Tiger football program only to go over to World Harvest. He knows that our fields take a pounding year after year.
