Gutted

Fix gutted the club by betraying and/or alienating the founding members. His insatiable ego and persistent ''promise everything and deliver nothing'' approach has reduced the club to a sham. The only people that attend meetings are politicians. The workforce behind the club left a couple of years ago.

I think that the last couple of election cycles have proven that hanging the big ''R'' over your head is more akin to hanging a big anchor around your neck. The time for partisanship in our local offices has come and gone. Vote for the people and not the party.

Send Fix and his cronies packing. Tell them to seek greener pastures in the oh so partisan Lancaster area.

Its all about JEFF

All I know is second and third hand information regarding the NW Republican club. Just by reading this web site that there has been problems in the club for a couple of years. Most of the trouble began when Fix was President. He screwed it up so badly that his predecessor Brian Sauer finally resigned because of the shrinking membership. In short what happened was that Fix viewed the club as his personal campaign committee and used it as such. I feel that Fix is narcissistic. One characteristic of narcissistic is an excessive need for admiration. By 2005, I think that the majority of the NW Republicans were realizing that the support of Jeff Fix was no longer about good government but all about Jeff Fix. No one else mattered. Jeff Fix is running and recruiting people to run for office and their sole purpose is to support Fix because of an overestimation of his abilities and an excessive need for admiration.

As for Tricia Sanders, I think he has some connection with her through the PYAA. He will spoon feed her the local issues in the most simplistic terms and Fix will add the spin to make her look like she knows something. It will take her a while before she realizes this election and council is about Jeff Fix not Tricia Sanders.
