If you think that holding a fundraiser of this type has any correlation to smoking, drinking, or drugs you're pretty stupid.

Take a walk through the lunch room at the high schools on any given day during the school year. You'll see all sorts of kids playing cards; euchre, Hold'em, Stud, and so on. It's fun, it's social and the kids pass the time before the next class.

What's the big deal here, people? Would you rather our school board hit us with yet again another levy to fund the sports programs or allow for as creative as possible fund-raising?

Let's worry about those things worth worrying about and let a simple Hold'em tournament alone.
