Meeting is a Formality

As stated at the Aug 13 Board meeting, the purpose of the Aug 20 meeting is simply a formality. It is to vote on the resolution of intent to place the 5-mill operating levy on the November ballot.

Time doesn't matter

Not sure if you've attended Board meetings but the few I've been to have an audience that could sit in the front row & not fill it up.

Those are in the evening at 7pm - so at a more convenient time no one comes anyway.

There may be more

While the meeting was announced at the board meeting, Dr. Mantia leaned to Dr. Brink and said there may also be some personnel issues to take care of. She didn't say if they would be taken care of during the regular meeting or executive session.
