Does anyone know what happened at the board meeting at 8 a.m. today? I'm sure the board voted to put the 5 mill levy on the November ballot, but I'm curious if any personnel issues ended up being discussed during the regular meeting.

I didn't attend because an 8 a.m. meeting doesn't work well for me, what with having a 3-year-old and all.

I looked on the school's website, and there wasn't an agenda posted for the meeting. I thought they were required by law to post an agenda prior to a public meeting. I assume the new Communications Director knows this as well.
Minutes

When will the minutes be posted? Lat posting was from June?

Agendas and minutes? Those things are for the little people.

Meeting Minutes

The minutes are usually posted shortly after the board approves them during the ''Treasurer's Report'' in the meeting.

At the August 13th meeting, the board acted on minutes from the June 29th, July 9th and July 23rd meetings. I wasn't paying close attention, but I think they approved them all. I remember they weren't approved as a group because a board member wanted at least one of the dates pulled out and voted on separately.

I can't remember exactly what happened because I wasn't paying close attention. This part of the meeting is usually routine. The architect had already given an update on the new schools, and the local report card results were next on the agenda. I got distracted.

I'm not sure why the minutes from the above-mentioned meetings haven't been posted on the district's website yet. Posting of the minutes on the website is usually routine.

I hope these lapses in providing information to the public don't also become routine.
