The Times Sun should be ashamed of the their high school football coverage. Last week they ran a one and a half page story complete with two color photographs of the Pickerington North Panthers and they quest for an outright OCC title. There was little coverage and no photos of the Tigers about how they were playing for an undefeated season and headed into the playoffs the first season in Division 1.

Moving forward to this week, one must wonder what the coverage will be... North lost their last game to finish their season 5 - 5 while the Tigers rolled to a perfect 10-0 and a playoff spot.

C'mon Times-Sun, give the Tigers their due. These boys have lost ONE regular season game in two years and made it all the way to the state championship game last year.

I've noticed a slight change in the local papers lately but they might be reverting back to their old ways.

North - on the top of the page, large color photo's, Central - bottom half (if at all) with small photo's.

The Times-sun and ''This Weak'' in Picktown as just as bad as the school board. North first, then Central.

this is what you're concerned with?

grades are dropping. there's a levy that needs passed. predators in the school.

and you're ticked about where the central football story is located in the local paper.

priceless. hope you don't pass that sort of bitterness off to your kids.

Times Sun shunned

The inside word is that a Times-Sun sports reporter has been trying to contact Jay Sharrett (Tigers head coach) in order to get story information for this weeks paper. Jay has been ignoring the messages as a pay-back for last weeks disgraceful coverage.

However, I understand that he is happily talking to any other reporters that call. The Dispatch, the Eagle Gazette to name a few had gotten some time from Sharrett.

Times-Sun... feel free to go and cover your beloved North Panthers chess team or jazz band this week. The Tigers have no comment for you.
