Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

I read in the Dispatch this morning that Hoggy's is leaving Grove City. They are being replaced with a Mexican restaurant. Hoggy's couldn't make it Grove City so they closed.

The spokesman for Hoggy's (which is loosely attached to Steak Escape where Jeff Fix runs the operations side of everything) indicated that they may move to Canal Winchester or Lancaster. HEY Jeff why would your company jump over Pickerington and go directly to Lancaster?

So can we take this either of two ways? Either Mr. Fix has no loyally toward his home town or he has NO INFLUENCE over the major decisions of the big company he says he runs?

One can only wonder

It makes one wonder if Fix can't influence a company to locate into Pickerington and he is a big shot Vice PRESIDENT then how can we ever expect him to bring all of the commercial property into the Pickerington area and pay for the Rec Center like his candidate promises?

Jeff we are all waiting for the dump trucks to arrive at City Hall loaded with the millions of tax dollars you promised in May. Letting one slip through your fingers like this doesn't give any of us a warm feeling.

Don't need Hoggy's

Closing a business in one location does not bode well for success in another if you do not fix your problems. They have problems.

Are you saying that this resturant organization might have an operational problem? I wonder who in that organization would be responsible for operations?
