Shaver said one misconception some residents might have concerning the JEDD agreement isit forces the city to provide free sewer and water services.
He clarified that is incorrect and said in the territories that the JEDD agreement is effective in the city will be required to provide sewer and water services at a normal outside rate.
Where in the city limits would any of this JEDD take place? Have ANY property owners in the city been approached?
Why would there be a JEDD inside the cities boundries?
Why would the city be charging outside rates if it's in the city?
The previous posting says the county will provide service sewer and water if it's in the JEDD. There wasn't a city representative present. Why not? Where are the minutes of discussions between the city and the county?
The previous article states that this puts the county in a better position to end annexations. Is that because taxpayer money has been overspent on sewer and water plants and they have to halt Canal and Pickerington to pay for this?
