To our anonymous message posters, It sure is easy for you to criticize while hiding behind your email. It seems to me you all need a refresher course in the use of Websters. Your biggest complaint, as unfounded as it is seems, is the issue of slander. According to Websters, it is defined as the utterance of false charges or misrepresentation which defames or damages anothers reputation. I fail to see any circumstances where the O'Brien character could be called into question. The MIKE SABATINO information sheet that was sent out by HIM has been labled by our anonymous writters as slander. Remembering the key word here ''false'', what on that paper is false? Are they implying that the Pickerington Municipal Clerk report has been altered to benifit Mitch O'Briens campaign.....? I will assume they are smarter than that. It appears that the Riggs supporters have been the only camp trying to make last minute attempts to deflect attention from the true campain issues. They are infact using slander or false truths themselves to raise doubt about Mitch's character. The information sheet, the placement of signs and where and with whom he sits with at a local football game are the criticisms that these cowards can post. Maybe your time should be more focused on seeing your candidate attend meetings that pertain to the cities finances and future. Certaintly you have not made yourself familiar with Mr. Sabatino, because Saturday at the Tiger playoff game, Mitch came into the stands near the end of the game and sat with my husband and our family as he does most games. He was supporting his friends and their sons as they work toward another state championship attempt. Tiger football is loved by the community, and Mitch is part of this community. Does he have to change what he enjoys and supports because he is running for Mayor? You have to believe in something to stand for something, otherwise you will fall for everything. It sure seems that some have found themselves in a free fall.

Good thing....
I guess it's a good thing that the other candidates didn't feel the same way old bleedin' purple & white O'Brien did. Otherwise how would I have gotten my Nachos Supreme?
He's already acting like a leader - letting the ''little people'' do all the work.
And YES he was sitting with Sabatino make no mistake.
Mitch has sold his soul - if he gets elected this city will get what it deserves. A ''slate'' of candidates bought and paid for. Can't wait to get ahold of their final campaign filings!!
The last time he ran he thought Sabatino was the Anti-Christ - now they are best buddies with the guys that created the growth issues that this city has fought so hard against & ran an election that beat Mitch by 10 votes.
I guess if you can't beat them join them was never more true than today.

Just back from voting
Just got back from voting. Mr. O'brien got my vote. Because he does bleed purple and white. I'm glad he got out of the concession stand. It was too crowded with all of the candidates helpers. The little people, huh? You must have been at the top of the stadium looking down on all of us. We're so helpless that we need your help. From your posting, sounds like you've already given up on your candidate.
And since when did sitting with Sabatino become a bad thing? Isn't he on the majority side of council? If I was running for Mayor, I'd have sat down with him, too. Either thanking him for his support or trying to earn it. Working together with the township, but not your fellow councilpeople can't be a good plan.
If you can't beat them, join them. Fix can't ''beat them'' on council with facts and realistic figures regarding developement, so he lost Wisniewski, Hackworth, Hammond and his majority on council. So he aligns himself with Tricia Sanders and others. The lack of cooperation and and lack of leadership are so apparent. Who abanonded who here? We're trying to keep the managed growth people like Brian, Ted, and Tony.

The little people?
Where was Jeffy? Anybody see him? Weren't his little people there? Heidi , Tricia, and Brian S? If anybody showed they have little people, wouldn't that have been Jeffy?
He was probably out checking to make sure the little people's candidates sign's weren't blocked, pulled up, or stepped on. Seeing as how all the police were at the game, he was doing some the community some service.
