Is it typical for male high school teachers to hug female students? Is it also typical for a male high school teacher to have a virtual parade of female students come to his classroom just to say ''hi''?
If something like this were to happen, would it send up red flags among teachers and administrators? Would anybody look into the situation?
This week I've been hearing about this happening from parents and teenagers in my neighborhood, including one girl who has promised me she'll never do it again.
Is it possible teachers and administrators saw these same things and brushed it all under the rug?
Aren't there board members who have children who are teachers also? Is it really possible the board didn't know what was going on?
