Sauer Response in TWIP

Posted in: PATA
''Sauer: I oppose high-density residential development in Pickerington, period. The reason for my position is that high-density development brings more traffic congestion, creates more air pollution, creates more storm water runoff for our sewer plant to handle, hampers infrastructure costs and it potentially adds to the already overcrowded school system.''

Umm, Storm Water run off goes into the storm sewer system, ditches, creeks, retention ponds, and the like. The sewer plant treats sewage! Two entirely different systems!

A good one to have in office

He would be good to have in office. Doesn't understand one system from another.

Would he know the difference between a city and a township and what would be good for the city opposed to what he would like to do for the township?
I wonder . . .

High density residential development POTENTIALLY adds to the already overcrowded schools? Unless it was senior citizen housing, how would it not affect the school population
Sewer Plant

Unless the sanitary system/lines have been fixed, there is a lot of storm water infiltrating the sewer lines, thus causing problems at the sewer plant.
