This Week in Pickerington reports on page A3, ''Sauer, who has lived in Pickerington for 28 years, said he would look for new ways to partner with neighboring communities and would fight any property tax increase.''

This Week in Pickerington reports on page A2 ''Taxpayers will pay an additional $67 a year per $100,000 of home valuation, beginning in 2008. According to the Fairfield County Auditor's Office, Pickerington residents will pay a total of $153.13 per $100,000 of valuation.''

What did you do to fight this increase? I don't recall seeing that you took a position on this during the campaign. Was there a reason not to take a position? Were you at the chamber luncheon? Did you speak out against the increase there? Will you do anything to fight this now that it has passed?

Any different?

Is that any different than Mitch promising to control overcrowding in our schools in his SE Messenger Ad?

What's the plan there? Locking up the city? The school district is bigger than just the city - how's he going to fix that? Work with other governments?

Can't wait to see that plan either!
Going to have to be

Your going to have to work with other governments. The city is already locked up. I think the possibilities are greater for cooperation with this mayor than our previous one.
