Why was the posting, authored by the Bully removed? It questioned what the current mayor's legacy would be. His accident or his news story about the documents in the dumpster were both reported in a variety of ways.
I am not the author The Bully and would like to hear your reasons for removal. Do you have a bias because you thought the mayor's ox was going to get gored? I feel you should explain to the posters here why it was removed. Not mad, just curious.

there comes a point in time
There comes a point in time when mud slinging and bashing people ad nauseum especially when they are down is not appropriate in civil circles. Bully invited all to a pile on to further destroy the reputation of Dave Shaver. I have sat by and watched this site turn into a huge mud sling on many occasions and have been disgusted so many times. I pretty much know the crowd and the posters who are the worst at this act, and frankly I am not going to tolerate it anymore.
At first I posted a response to bully, saying no good would come of bashing somebody when they are down. But I am so fed up with this constant personal bashing that I just deleted it and as the moderator of this blog I have this right. If Bully would like to create his own bashing blog and put a link to it here feel free. He can then have the '' privledge '' of moderating a blog that can go out of control.
When PATA was founded, the purpose was to promote positive change. PATAt succeeded in that mission in many ways we will never even know how many because once the pebble is thrown into the pond the ripples can go on forever if you are familiar with the butterfly theory. There have also been things that it created that some are not too proud of...people who at one time had a positive mission who have changed. That goes for people on both sides of the political fence. Some change for the good some for the bad depending on your point of view.
My feeling is to let the office holders who are defeated leave in peace. There is plenty of info on this site and on the Pata History pages for anyone to learn a lesson from... a posting bashing somebody personally when they are down and inviting others to pile on has been deleted on this day in December 2007.

It's About Time
Thanks for removing any offensive postings that are over the top. I visit this site to try to form opinions on things happening in Pickerington. It's hard to take any statements here seriously when there is so much name calling, etc. Thanks for taking a stand.
Also, the Mayor wasn't defeated. He didn't run. Mrs. Riggs wasn't elected so she may be the one who is down. Regardless, taking cheap shots at anyone here doesn't do anyone any good.
It's nice to think this site might regain some validity again as a resource for information.

On Point!! Great decision and explanation. I pretty much had stopped checking in at this site due to the constant harping and name calling that had nothing to do with tax issues related to Ptown. I would encourage you to be more proactive in deleting postings that are strictly political sewer work and have nothing to do with tax and financial issues.
