The Jeff Fix Club... also known as the NW Fairfield County Republican club is hosting a meet the candidate night next week. Perhaps Fix should get shirts made up for Riggs, Sauer, Sanders, Reade, and Wetlich that indicate which puppet is which.
Hey, Jeff is Heidi going to read both the question and answer from a card prepared in advance by you like she did at the chamber of commerce breakfast?
Think about this, fellow readers... How much courage does it take for O'Brien, Hackworth, Wisnewski, Barletta and Gray to walk into this meeting when they know they're only going to ambushed by these fools lead by Jeff Fix. I hope that the county party is taking notice of this and maybe some day will do something to rein these terrorists in.

Uncalled for
In today's climate it is completely uncalled for to refer to a group of grass roots activists with the betterment of the community at the heart of what the do a group of terrorists.

Keep the real fighters in office
Thanks Jeff for your demonstration of phony outrage.
Apparently you are not happy with the direction of the city government. Clearly you feel that ONLY Heidi Riggs has shown the way despite the fact that she had no ideas in 2003 and she has no ideas today. Now you have went out and recruited a trio of innocents who know nothing about nothing. You want to call these people ''Grass roots'' movement. Give us all break on that one. Over the last half dozen years Brian Wisniewski, Mitch O'Brien, Ted Hackworth and Tony Barletta have actually lived in the City not in David Shaver's antic. They are the grass roots NOT YOU or you cronies.
During all of the times of uncontrolled growth Heidi Riggs sat on her fanny and did nothing. Then once she was appointed to CO-council she sponsored a moratorium with Shaver. By the by we were sued over that moritorium.
The only reason you have these four candidates (who by the way publicly say they are not being controlled by you) so they will vote your way and allow you to give away the City taxpayer's dollars. Yet you are circulating an email promoting all four.
What you can't get over is your tendency to lick Gary Weltlich's boots. I can only hope that the taxpayers of Pickerington are not that stupid to turn out the real fighters for this community and turn it over to a bunch of opportunist that only are self centered and only care about heir future in politics not the city.

Here's JEFF!!
To all my friends in the Pickerington School District,
I trust that all is well with you and your families.
I'm writing to you today on behalf of my friend Jim Brink. Dr. Brink has served on the Pickerington School Board for the past four years - admirably I think - and is seeking re-election this fall.
Jim is not a natural campaigner. He is a thoughtful, serious, responsible public servant. Four years ago Jim was a part of the ''team'' that was swept into office as we worked to rid our city and school board of those who had performed poorly in the past. As a fellow public servant, I know that the school board is the most thankless of all elected offices. Jim has served us well for the past four years and is now asking for your vote so that he can continue his mission to make our schools the best they can be, and to do so in a fiscally responsible manner.
Below is a note from Dr. Brink. Please read it when you have the time and consider his request for your vote.
I also urge you to strongly consider voting for Lisa Reade as she has done an admirable job on the school board for the past four years as well.
For those of you in the city, you've probably already heard my plea for you to vote for Heidi Riggs for Mayor; and for Tricia Sanders, Brian Sauer, and Bob Blair for city council. These are serious times in Pickerington and we need serious leadership. These four have shown me that they have what it takes to get the job done the right way.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Fix
