PICKERINGTON ?— The Auditor of State?’s office presented the city of Pickerington with the ?“Making Your Tax Dollars Count?” award for the fiscal year 2006 audit, according to a press release Monday.
Less than five percent of Ohio government agencies are eligible for this award.
To receive the award, certain standards must be met:
The entity must complete and submit a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
There must be no findings or issues in the audit report.
There must be no other financial concerns involving the entity.
