I hear that two men and a man last night in PReston Trails. The man was looking under his hood at Preston Trails and Norfok Square and these two tried to car jack the guy.
What is always disturbing is that our police chief doesn't let the citizens know any details and allows us all to worry if we need to go out and buy that hand gun.

it's time to arm ourselves
This shooting occurred probably 30 feet from someone's front door. It is on the path for students walking to Diley Middle school and we are advised to keep our cool. It also happened at around 9:45 PM when most people are still awake and moving about the city. If it were summer there would more than likely have been kids on the streets or playing in the yards near the shooting.
This appears to be an attempted car jacking.
Six months ago we had another shooting where the victim died and we have heard nothing about that. That victim died on his neighbor's door step and I hear kids were still coming home from the football game at around 11:30 PM.
The city is about to make some drastic budget cuts and it will more than likely hit the police department hard. I think when our congress returns some of my tax money I will head up to Vance's and buy a hand gun just to be safe when I mow the grass. I guess I will need to get a permit to carry a concealed weapon as well.

You better get your gun before Hillery is elected because there will be no more guns and we can all wait to be shot by people that don't care about her gun controls.
