I think you people are getting far too dramatic here in that City Managers get fired everyday. They are NOT required to have a performance review or any kind of evaluation as a condition of employment. In fact the last two City Managers left at the pleasure of the Mayors. Clearly the way someone parts their hair could be a reason to fire someone. Managers are not protected like the regular hourly employees and they work for the city at the pleasure of the council and the Mayor.

I understand Mr. Hansley has already retired and he is drawing his Public Employees retirement. So he will survive this economy. As for making the differences public between him and the council is really none of our business unless he was doing something illegal. The silence shows nothing was ilegal.

I am sure the president of council is working the postings here to create a controversy in the name of his re-election. Let me assure you all that these city managers put their pants on the same way we all do one leg at a time. I am sure there are many more standing in line for a 6 figure income.

Good riddance

This has been a long time coming. No wonder that Jeff tried so hard to save Tim. They're both a couple of slimey salesman. Tim Hansley allowed an attitude of ''I'm a City Employee, I can do what ever I want to do'' to fester among the staff. He protected those that would have been fired long ago had they worked in the private sector.

We live in an age where city employees have to be held accountable for thier actions. Tax payers should expect the city employees to provide top shelf service. Ever wonder why our Code Enforcement officer has been unable to provide any documentation of his processes for the last 6-9 months? Tim refused to press him for it! Ever wonder why our Planning and Zoning Director has enraged many developers to the point where they refuse to even consider Pickerington for project? Tim allowed this to happen!

The firing of Tim Hansley was a long time coming folks.

Now onto Fix...

Jeff Fix is a liar with a capital ''L''. For Jeff is be quoted in the newspaper saying that the only reason why Tim was fired was due to a dispute with residents in Simsbury and residents on Long Road is laughable.

Jeff knows why Tim was fired and lied about the reason in the newspaper. He is slime.

But he and Tim are best buddies and Jeff would do anything to protect his pal. Evidently to the point where Jeff tried to turn this situation into politics. Jeff thinks ever thing is about Jeff and his campaign. The size of his ego is appalling.

Tell Jeff on Election Day that we're tired of his lies. Vote to oust this pathological piece of crap out of office.
