Gary Weltlich on Campaign Contributions

It is well known that campaign contributions are one of the biggest areas of abuse and corruption in our government. Large contributors such as lobbyists, those currently doing business as well as those seeking large contracts with the government (pay to play), political action committees (PACS) and the many other ?“special interests?” continue to attempt to ?“buy?” influence to have their special interests favored over the interests of the citizens. Some elected officials consider this to be nothing more than ?“business as usual?”. This obscene practice will not be tolerated in the Gary Weltlich campaign.

The most important support you can give our campaign is voting for Gary Weltlich on Election Day.

However, campaigns require money and your financial support will help us reach key undecided voters. I want to give everyone that desires to participate in my campaign financially an equal opportunity.

Accordingly, in the interest of great government and equal representation for all I will not accept a campaign contribution from anyone that exceeds $20. If you believe in what we can do together and want to be one of the ?“biggest contributors?” to the Weltlich campaign, your precious vote and $20 does it.

Let there be no question when important decisions are being made whose interests I represent, it is the interest of each and every citizen. Regardless of social status, ?“connections?”, or wealth, we are all Americans first and are in this together. That's why I hope you'll make a contribution not to exceed $20, payable to: Weltlich for Commissioner, and mail it to 6140 Blacklick Eastern Rd., Pickerington, OH 43147.

Thank you for your crucial support!

Campaign Rhetoric

I told you to look for more or this pandering for votes. So how does one pick $20.00 as the maximum? R-H-E-T-O-R-I-C. Does it mean $21.00 or more and he'll feel pressured by your financial influence? How stupid. That's not the guy I want working for me. Oh, a $50.00 contribution and you own a candidate. What bunk. I'm sure many of Judy's friends will donate a more than that to see her win.

Gimme a break

In the original posting here, 'from the wetlich site' posting, read the last paragraph. He says we are all Americans and are in this together.

GIMME A FREAKIN' BREAK!!

Has he treated the incorporated Pickerington City residents the same as unincorporated Violet Township residents? Remember how much money the City residents send to Violet and get nothing in return? Wasn't it like $265,000 over and above the fire money? Times eight years he's been in office is $2,120,000. We're all American's...unless you live in the City.
