Suck-ups
I understand that the chemical engineer from Youngstown is writing nasty campaign letters about his opponent. In the one that came to Pickerington's mail boxes which was written by Jeff Fix they lied repeatedly and made up facts to fill his empty resume.
What we should all fear is that we have a majority of the council members that signed this letter. Clearly this letter kills their credibility and brings into question who they really represent. This letter sarcastically makes comments on how Mrs. Shupe handled the 2005 county budget crisis and made fun of the fact that she voted to cut spending only to find money later.
I read in the minutes that this City council majority is going to place something on the ballot in August to fix their budget problems. Obviously they are going to push their problems off onto the taxpayers of Pickerington. I believe if they do this they will break a number of their campaign promises and I will be waiting.
They also claimed in the minutes that the citizens are not smart enough to understand the financial problems the city is having. This campaign letter is signed by two council members that have been in office for only 60 days.
I also hear that Weltlich says that Pickerington is in financial trouble because they let the developers run the show here.
MR. WELTLICH PICKERINGTON IS IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE BECAUSE THEIR COUNCILS HAVE BEEN TOO GENEROUS TO THE TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES.
It is time we had a Pickerington City council to look out for the residents they represent and not trying to always suck up to the bald one.
