Gots to love the letter from the School Levy team saying PLSD voters now deserve time off for good behavior! But I guess we're on parole until they decide to imprison us again by raising taxes.

I'm not in jail...

I'm not sure that anyone is imprisoned.

I voted for the last few school issues because I truely believe that they were needed.

I also believe that this is a different administration with different priorities than the one that ruled previously and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove that they don't deserve it.

I am also willing to allow others to lead the distrtict because they want to and they believe that they can do a good job. I don't have the experience to begin to tackle such responsibility.

If you don't believe that the school issues are needed, then don't vote for them.

If you believe that you can do a better job leading the district then by all means, throw your hat in the ring next election cycle. Your credentials, experience, and worthiness will be on display for all to judge.

This is still a democracy. Majority rules.

Don't treat me like one of your sixth graders telling me I get time off for good behavior. It's demeaning. And, Bert, thanks for reminding me I can vote no. Just give me the facts without all the rah, rah, rah, sis boom bah crap.

Why the hate?

You sure are quick to get fired up.

My only point that I'm trying to make is that if you don't like what's going on, actively participate in trying to change it.

You don't like the way the school boad works, then you run, get elected, and make the change.

You don't think more money is necessary for the schools, then organize an opposition camapign built on facts and plausable plans. Become visible.

Don't just stand on the sideline like a coward and throw stones annonomysly.

I ask again, why the hate?

Why live in a community that you dislike so much? Where is it that is better?
