Found the Lancaster Eagle Gazette....
To the Editor:
I have received in the mail two or three pieces of campaign literature from Gary Weltlich, a Republican candidate for county commissioner in the upcoming primary election. In each piece, Weltlich touts his experience by stating that he has been '' ... elected to three consecutive terms as a township trustee by satisfied Fairfield County residents.'' Although not categorically false, I find these statements to be somewhat misleading. Why doesn't Weltlich inform those of us who do not reside in Violet Township that he has been elected by Violet Township residents, not by satisfied residents of all of Fairfield County? Does Weltlich not want the voters to know where he has been a trustee? Surely, if Weltlich were proud of his record as a Violet Township Trustee, and if he thought that the Fairfield County voters who do not live in Violet Township were in agreement with the policies he has pursued in that position, he would want us to know where he has served.
