Before you say a darned word about snow removal in Pickerington, you darned well better have something to compare it to. I had to be out in central Ohio all weekend and you sure knew when you hit Pickerington because the roads were the BEST!!

Tussing Area

I heard that the Tussing area is typically the last to be plowed. This area is in the City of Columbus and is low on their totem pole. I also heard that Violet Township often helps out by plowing that area, probably to help the school busses get through. But, this time, they were pretty busy with their own roads they probably didn't get a chance to help out.

Yes, Pickerington wasn't the only school district closed on Monday and no, I don't think Violet Township's road crews were to blame.
