I agree but

I agree that the city needs the money, i guess I do not like how it effects me. By having my office in the city a 2% income tax would cost me this year around $6400. I would rather violet and the city merge and have everyone just pay the 1%. Not sure that it makes much sense for me to pay that much in taxes and I agree that what I pay is a drop in the bucket compared to the overall amount

Merger??

I am not sure a 1% city/township merger would be sufficient to fuel the fires of this new city. However if you are willing to talk to me about it I would keep your name confidential. I have left my email address.

I think the community would be further ahead and be able to provide more if the two enities were to merge.
