Not Wrong
The little Boren is going to Central under the current open enrollment policy (sibling going to that school). an he will be going to Central if they decide to shadow the OHSAA rule. So it does not concern little Boren.
I will repeat what I said before '' There are some other families that thought they had until the summer of their kids freshman year to decide.'' .....
Do they want all the talent to come to Central ... can not answer that...

Aren't we here for an Education?
You know they say that ALL students need to have the opportunity to transfer. The bottom line is the only students that DO transfer are athletes. It's only a few & it goes both ways. People will want to be on Butcher's basketball team, the soccer team at North, run track at Central & play for TIGER Football.
OHSAA say intra district recruiting is wrong. We need to end it in Pickerington. We have two teams in every major sport now & twice the opportunities we had with one school. Whatever happened to practice hard, do your best, train to eliminate weakness - is that gone?
Another thing OHSAA says is you can almost fail & still be ''academically sound'' enough to play sports - just not ''academically sound'' enough to graduate. Maybe we ought to spend some time on working on that - then our athletes can at least walk out with an education.

No Grad test, no play
An interesting concept -- if you are a senior and have not passed all your Ohio graduation tests then you are ineligible for sports until you do.
Something like education comes first. If you are not on track to graduate you must focus on the education aspect. Sorry all you moms and dads with your D1 scholarship kids, study first.
