I understand your frustration. I live in Pickerington and care what happens here. I cannot speak directly for Rick (my boss), but I do believe he also cares about our area. He told me that the Messenger won't leave Pickerington again anytime soon.

I also wanted to clarify that the Messenger is a small family-owned chain. Pickerington is now part of the ''Eastside Messenger'' with Reynoldsburg and Bexley.

The Suburban News Press (SNP) is the ''Pickerington Sun Times''. It is owned by the same company that prints ''the Other Paper'' and ''Columbus Monthly''. Nick (I forget his last name) writes for them and does an excellent job.

The third paper is ''This Week'' and it is owned by the Dispatch. They are transitioning reporters.

Thanks Rachel. I think if one knows of the area the politics and geography, that one would group any Pickerington news with Canal Winchester area and Lithopolis area and the Groveport area vs Bexley or Reynoldsburg!

If you look at your article this week on the front page, it involves Pickerington/ Violet and CANAL. We only share a small border with Reynoldsburg with one very narrow connection on SR 256 and some apartments from Reynoldsburg in our school district that is it. We certainly have borders city and township with Canal Winchester and children who live in the tussing road area that are not part of the PLSD go to Groveport Madison Schools... so why would they group us with Bexley and Reynoldsburg???
