Right on Beanie
Beanie, you are so right. We got a bunch of yard signs, paid for with taxpayer money, appropriated by emergency ordinance. Wonder how many doors were knocked on, how many phone calls were made? I remember not too many years ago, when a bunch of citizens upset by the use of emergency legislation turned out one bunch of republicans and put a new bunch in. The right way to promote an issue, is to campaign for it, with a policial action committee. They took the easy way out because they had the votes to pass it on council, and lacked the will to work to get passed by the voters. All the voters got was wasted money.
