Reason No.1-Vote No on Tax Levy

Posted in: PATA
lets guess .. who is''thanks Ted''

1. Old city administration member or mayor or councilman who still grinds ax on this site. :o we know ya are still peekin in...

2. Current Councilman who grinds ax with Ted at drop of hat.

3. One of the ten people who read this site and jumps on instantly to let everyone know that he/she is one of the ten...why bother then...
Reason No. 1

A consulting engineer can be given a list of duties. A price is determined. Pay for what you need.

A full time employee with retirement and health care benefits, well that meter keeps burning tax dollars, 7 a week, 365 days a year at the hired rate.

This is poor management move. A No vote will stop this pattern of poor thinking.

Actually...

The City's contract with the consulting engineer pays them $9600/month (retainer for being our City Engineer) no matter how much they do. That's $115,200/year.
The real actually

Ah, yes the Gilliland factor. Former incompetent city manager kept ADDING and ADDING to the jobs list of the consultant. I think the consultant started at $2500.00 per month and the city kept adding work. Just exactly what does the full time emoloyee city manager do? And do we really need a second one?
