What happened last night???

Are we one step closer to getting the red light cameras?

Inquiring minds want to know.

You can bet your pay check that those on council are entrenched in their thinking,that these cameras will raise huge amounts of money for the city. I understand the father of this idea is Fix. He is the same one that predicted a landslide in favor of the 2% income tax last November. His basic flaw is that he allows his personal tendency of exaggeration to over whelm his sense of the community. By his own admission he said he ran the red light cameras TWICE. The cameras did NOT change his driving behavior but for some reason he thinks it will change other driver's behavior.

So before talking to anyone that was there last night or reading the results of the vote in the paper the vote was 5-2 in favor.
